Antibiotic Premedication

Many medical conditions require antibiotic premedication prior to dental treatment. Bacteria from the mouth can enter the blood stream and infect previously damaged heart valves or implanted devices, such as, prosthetic joints and artificial heart valves. Oral bacteria can cause life threatening infections, so be sure to inform us if you have any of the following conditions.
